We are looking for an outside sales representative to help us grow and continue to cultivate relationships, existing and new, across the great state of Louisiana. This role will help us achieve our sales goals as we evolve our business to meet the rapidly-changing needs of our valued customers. This role is a remote position based in Louisiana with occasional travel to our New Orleans and Memphis offices.
We are looking for a “people person” who enjoys being face-to-face yet is equally comfortable and proficient with digital communications such as social media and video conferencing.
Job Responsibilities
Travel to meet with foodservice end users, distribution partners, and kitchen design consultants in assigned territory to discuss business challenges, present new products and programs, and provide other support as needed.
Keep in regular contact with large customers.
Prospect for new customers.
Perform daily sales tasks to support sales goals and reporting requirements.
Occasionally travel out-of-state to participate in training events and trade shows.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, culinary degree, or equivalent outside sales experience at least three (3) years of food service sales experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media
Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM application
Ability to calculate figures and amounts for sales, commissions, discounts, and volume
Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years; no DUIs within the last 5 years
Must reside in Louisiana
